Who Can Buy
To purchase any software at academic
prices normally requires proof of eligibility. This proof will
depend on the vendor but is usually a student or faculty I.D.
or some other proof that the purchaser is a student, faculty
member, or authorized purchasing agent for a qualifying
accredited school, college, or in some cases, a library or
hospital.
Academic Software Eligibility
Requirements
Faculty/Staff:
You are eligible if you are
a full or part time faculty and staff employed by accredited
K-12 and higher education institutions such as universities,
colleges, junior colleges, including vocational schools.
Students: are
eligible for academic software if they are:

A full or part time student enrolled at
higher education institutions defined as accredited, degree
granting, public or private university or college including
community, junior or vocational college.

Enrolled in grades K-12 at an accredited
public or private primary or secondary school providing
full-time instruction

Some K-12 students or home-schooled students
may not be eligible, depending upon vendor restrictions.
Schools and
Educational Institutions:
Educational institutions are
generally defined as:

Accredited public or private primary or secondary school
providing full-time instruction for grades K-12 or a school
district.

Accredited public or private university or college
(including community, junior or vocational college) that
grants degrees.

Administrative Offices or Boards of Education of Educational
Institutions.

Home schools may qualify if approved by the individual
publisher on a case by case basis.
