What is Academic Software

Academically priced software is exactly what the name indicates -- software that is specially priced for the academic community. Many leading software publishers have identified the academic community as opinion leaders for their products. And have announced "academic" or "education" programs to offer their software to the academic community at specially discounted prices.

So, what is the difference between the products being offered at these specially discounted prices and the commercial versions of these products?

Absolutely nothing. These products are identical to the regular commercial versions. They are complete -- no features disabled, and include manuals, registration cards etc. etc.. (Note : Some exceptions do exist. Please see our pricelists for details). The products are registerable and upgradeable -- just like the regular commercial pack.

As an Educational Institution, Student, Faculty or Staff member, you are eligible to purchase legal, licenced software packages that you find in this catalog at special academic prices. Proof of academic status required.
